A Place for All My Books is a thoughtful and cozy puzzle game about gathering, sorting, and organizing books throughout your apartment. Players arrange stacks of books in different rooms as personal projects, creating satisfying organizational patterns.
Once projects are completed, players may admire their work to gain rewards — most importantly, renewed energy. This energy allows them to venture out into the village to discover and collect even more books to bring home.
Over the course of nine rounds, players visit various locations, gather books, complete objectives, and earn Victory Points. Strategic planning is key, as the player with the most Victory Points at the end of the game wins.
While the organizational puzzles themselves are intuitive and easy to understand, the real challenge lies in optimizing how many objectives you can complete at once in order to maximize the benefits of each “admire” action.
A Place for All My Books also includes a solo mode, where you must compete against the game’s rival, Penelope Eveready — an energetic extrovert who always seems to collect the books you were planning to take.
